ACBF officially signs the host country agreement with the Government of the Republic of Ghana

23 May 2013, Accra, Ghana (ACBF) Today, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) officially signed the Host Country Agreement with the Government of the Republic of Ghana. Hon. Seth Terkper Minister of Finance and ACBF Governor for Ghana and Dr. Frannie Léautier, ACBF Executive Secretary signed on behalf of both parties. This signing comes at a time when ACBF is decentralizing its operations throughout the continent.  Ghana will host the West and Central Operations of ACBF covering 24 countries in the region and making it the largest of the hubs.

17 May 2013, Lomé, Togo (ACBF) The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) is in Togo following an invitation from the Government of Togo.  The mission led by Dr Frannie Léautier, ACBF Executive Secretary, accompanied by Dr. Coffi Noumon, the Director for Western and Central Africa of ACBF, and Mr. Oula Coulibaly, the Program Officer for CADERT will also make a formal country visit.

Africa is on an optimistic trajectory serving today as a growth pole for the global economy. You have a chance to make that sustainable. Africa is richly endowed in existing and newly discovered natural resources. You are the generation that will transform them through science and technology to create restructured economies that bring value to different parts of the production chain and render them useful for Africa's development.
